EVOLUTION OF THE ASHTRAY BY SETH

There was a time when we thought anything could be an ashtray - a soda can, an actual houseplant, a piece of long-discarded pizza in a grease-stained box - but as we’ve evolved as human beings from our early, weed-smoking origins, so too have our expectations for what an ashtray can and should be.

It was with this evolution in mind that Seth designed his very own Ashtray Set.

With a deep ash-catching so that unsightly ashes would be hidden and also wouldn’t get blown around by any sudden gusts. With a handy joint-holding notch because sometimes people need their hands to do things besides hold joints. And with a matching vase because flowers are beautiful and things that match are cool. From there, we continued to evolve the form, with the sleek and modern Ashtray 2.0, and (coming soon) the Ashtray 3.0, also by Seth. We’ve come a long way as humans who smoke weed, and we hope our own growth can inspire us to continue our ashtray designing journey.
