It’s an ash tray
And luckily it’s somewhat tough. It actually survived a fall to a hard surface with only a rug to protect it.

I Don’t Use it as an Ashtray
As soon as I saw the design of this ashtray, I knew it would work as something else. Sorry Seth, but this is my new favorite paint water cup. The ledge holds brushes nicely and the gloop at the bottom provides a good texture for cleaning my brushes.
